Welcome!
Hi, I’m Meghan, up and coming photographer who is doing her best to get from semi-professional to full on professional photographer. I aspire to be a wedding and senior photographer, photographic journalist, graphic designer, as well as MCS (aka a Mass Communications Specialist, someone who is a photographer as well as graphic design artist, journalist, and more) in the US Navy. I can’t stand creative writing in school and am so thankful for the saying “One picture is worth 1,000 words.” I have several years experience as a amateur photographer working her way to professional level and have taken thousands of yearbook and family photos. I am a eldest child and am a 17 yr old sister to 5 younger siblings from the ages 13 to 6 months, so if I don’t post for a while you know why 😁🤪. I am homeschooled and have been my entire life, so I started doing it before it was cool😎. I love the Lord, garage/yard sales, DIY projects, creative projects that often have watercolor and/or gilding flakes/mica powder included, much to my sister’s dismay ( we share a room, and I may occasionally get some on her stuff accidentally….), digital and non-digital hand lettering and calligraphy, and coffee mixed with hot chocolate mix, French vanilla creamer, and ColdStone Vanilla creamer ( aka a poor girls mocha😂) as well as regular mocha espressos and mocha lattes. I’m learning to like just plain coffee n creamer as well😂. I am currently a junior in high school and once I have graduated I plan on buying my own RV and traveling around the country visiting friends, family, and establishing my photography business, and at some point entering the US Navy to be an MCS. My Aunt Courtney (of Courtney Smith Photography) has taught me so so much about taking and editing photos and I will forever be grateful to her and to my photography teacher at my co-op, Mrs Sharon Smith.
I aim to capture personalities, laughter, love, color, (even in black and white) hilarity, chaos, and more.
If you’ve made it this far, I’d love to hear from you! Send me a message via my contact form and let’s get something on the calendar!
